Relentless downpour, deluge and landslides caused widespread damage which turned out to be the biggest disaster in the history of Kerala. The great loss of lives, livelihoods, livestock and other infrastructures are beyond description. It killed hundreds of people, enforced millions to be evacuated and to be in relief camps.
The terrible nightmare caused lasting scars on the state of Kerala. However, to carry each other’s burden in order to fulfil the law of Christ, New Life Trust members energetically united in the mission of rebuilding Kerala.

Showing True Love in Times of Trouble

The Trust volunteers geared up into action and provided essential clean drinking water bottles, food packets and clothes to hundreds of families who were in relief camps.
Soon after the nature’s fury, our volunteers reached out to the survivorshouses as well. They have so far cleaned up hundreds of mud filled houses and made the inhabitable places habitable. To avoid the spread of contagious diseases, medicines were supplied to the survivors.
Bundles of clothes, food packets, essentials like grains, rice, sugar, bedsheets, utensils etc. were provided through the collective effort of Trust team members
