Tailoring Centres are one major initiative NLDS uses to empower women who are illiterate and unskilled to become economically contributing members in the family

We provide free training in designing garments, embroidery and stitching with a view to convert the training centre into a production unit connected with the retail market.

The entrepreneurship development is aimed at creating a conducive environment for young and women entrepreneurs to access relevant skills, knowledge, values and attitudes for their businesses. This program offers trainings and classes that appropriately and adequately to the labour market and small scale business needs of the entrepreneurs.
