In India a good number of people suffer with eye problems. Some are common and can be treatedwhile others are serious and immediate diagnosis is important. Short sightedness (myopia), long sightedness (Hypermetropia), cataract, trachoma, glaucoma and river blindness are some of the common diseases found during our eye care camp. The basic cause and effect of blindness is poverty and it is very hard to overcome this consequence especially in the rural areas where most blind people live. We organise free eye check-up camps during alternative months, which helps these people to take proper diagnosis and treatment. We are much glad to give light in the life of people who were living in darkness.
