To address the crisis of potable water in North Indian villages, NLDS digs tube wells in locations where we receive requests from social workers

Water touches every aspect of life, and in India uncertainty over access to and the availability of this basic resource may be reaching crisis levels. The World Health Organization reports that 97 million Indians lack access to safe drinking water, while 21% of the country’s communicable diseases are transferred by the use of unclean water. Unavailability of clean water for drinking is the core issue than water for other needs. The main victims of water crisis are the poor people residing in remote villages of North India. 

We have identified many rural locations from the states of Rajasthan, Orissa, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh There are many ruralareas we have re identified, where the villagersare struggling for clean water. Thousands of lives are being benefitted through our initiatives such as Tube well projects, thus adding moments of joy in lives.
