We help people affected in natural calamity and other forms of disasters like communal violence. Using our social workers and well-wishers in the area we send all sorts of help including financial support, food, clothing, temporary shelter materials and medicines. Gopalpur, Khandamal, Bihar, Nepal and Uttar Pradesh are some locations we have successfully restored lives during natural calamities and communal tensions.

In our country India, where every year many crises and tragedies take place and in such situation there are many opportunities to care for others. Floods, cyclones, droughts, landslides, earthquakes, and terrorist bombings are common for many people living here, adding great distress to their already challenging lives. When disaster strikes, we visit the site and actively participate in rescue operation. Besides that we facilitate medical, food and temporary shelter for the victims. Counselling and rehabilitation services are the only way to bring them out from such tragic situation.

Every year extreme cold makes life miserable for poor people. Throughdistributing woollen cloth, medical services and counselling, we rehabilitate many lives. Orissa is one of the places where our tsunami rehabilitation program has on-going since 2004.
